<p><strong> <strong>Stouts are dark beers</strong> made using dark roasted malt or barley. Stouts were traditionally the generic term for the strongest or stoutest porters- typically 7% or 8% produced by a brewery. </strong></p>
<div id="attachment_654" class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 1034px"><a href="http://www.1702az.com/wp-content/uploads/IMAG0342-e1323829571808.jpg"><img class="size-large wp-image-654" title="stout decision" src="http://www.1702az.com/wp-content/uploads/IMAG0342-e1323829571808-1024x662.jpg" alt="" width="1024" height="662" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Decisions, decisions....</p></div>
<p><strong>On draught we have:</strong></p>
<p>World Wide Stout (18% ABV)- Dogfish Head</p>
<p>Old Rasputin (9%)- North Coast Brewing</p>
<div id="attachment_656" class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 178px"><a href="http://www.1702az.com/wp-content/uploads/IMAG0340.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-656" title="IMAG0340" src="http://www.1702az.com/wp-content/uploads/IMAG0340-168x300.jpg" alt="" width="168" height="300" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">yes please</p></div>
<p>Santa&#8217;s Little Helper (10%)- Port Brewing</p>
<p>Chicory Stout (5.2%)- Dogfish Head</p>
<p>Oak Aged Yeti (9.5%) &#8211; Great Divide Brewing</p>
<div id="attachment_658" class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 178px"><a href="http://www.1702az.com/wp-content/uploads/IMAG0341.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-658" title="oak aged yeti" src="http://www.1702az.com/wp-content/uploads/IMAG0341-168x300.jpg" alt="" width="168" height="300" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">18% or 10.5%</p></div>
<p>Bourbon Barrell Stout (11.5%)- Odell&#8217;s Brewing</p>
<div id="attachment_651" class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 178px"><a href="http://www.1702az.com/wp-content/uploads/IMAG0343.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-651" title="Bourbon barrel stout" src="http://www.1702az.com/wp-content/uploads/IMAG0343-168x300.jpg" alt="" width="168" height="300" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">One of four great stouts from the mountain state of Colorado</p></div>
<p>Nefarious Ten Pen (8%)- Ska Brewing</p>
<p>Outer Darkness (10.5%)- Squatters</p>
<p>All of these beers are essentially imperial stouts (also known as Russian imperial stout) &#8211; inspired by brewers back in the 1800&#8242;s to win over the Russian Czar, this is the king of stouts, boasting high alcohol by volumes and plenty of malt character. Low to moderate levels of carbonation with huge roasted, chocolate and burnt malt flavours. Often dry. Suggestions of dark fruit and flavors of higher alcohols are quite evident. Hop character can vary from none, to balanced to aggressive.</p>
