Our story
1702 is Tucson’s Beer and Pizza Mecca.
Located near the University of Arizona at 1702 E. Speedway Blvd. (get it?), we serve an ever-changing selection of over 50 imported beers and domestic micro-brews on draught and many more by the bottle.
Wings, soup, a variety of fresh salads and delicious pizzas – offered with a huge selection of toppings – make 1702 a local favorite with college students, local professionals, and serious beer aficionados.
Come by for a beer and a slice, or attend one of our new events, where you can meet distributors and brewery reps and receive t-shirts, hats, glassware and other goodies.
Bocce
Bocce Since 2007, 1702 has participated in the Dogfish Head Intergalactic Bocce Tournament West, held in Scottsdale, AZ. In 2008 we entered three teams, and we’re proud to say that one of them won the entire event! This resulted in an invitation to defend their title at the upcoming Dogfish Head Intergalactic Bocce Tournament East held at the Dogfish Head Brewery in September of 2008.
